Inline Links/Threads

Inline Threads are virtual threads between cards. If an idea seems to make sense in association with another idea then sew them together. We forget far more than we remember and Worgan can help remember connections for us. For practice lets link a couple cards together.

1. Go to a Project card and type anywhere in the text box the following: {{c 1}}. You will notice that Worgan will color this text red and underline it.
2. Now click on it. You will be transported to the Character Page, Card #1.

That's how easy it is to connect cards. In a similar manner you can link other documents to Worgan. For example, imagine that the body of your story is in a file called c:\mydocs\great story.doc.

To link the story with your project card you can either use the main application link (see Header). Or you can use an executable Inline Thread.

Anywhere in your text box type the following: {{z c:\mydocs\great story.doc}} It will highlight red as before. Now when you click on it, Worgan will try to find the associated loader and load it. This associated loader is defined by you under Windows 95.

For example, if you have Microsoft Word, whenever you click on a document ending in .doc, Word is loaded with this document. This is what will happen under Worgan. Word will run and the great story.doc will be loaded.

You can load pictures, videos and other files in the same manner.
