
Settings are places where your stories happen. This form is for organizing these settings -- usually countries, planets, or universes -- in a consistent mannger.
This page can contain a number of settings logically related, i.e., each page may contain a country in a world, or a planet in a universe. I'm certain that you will find other uses for this organizing tool as well.
To add another domain to this setting choose the Options|Add Domain option in the menu. This will create a blank domain page to being working on.
Categories: Here is where information specific to all domains in your setting goes. Click on a field like Geography and then write some information pertaining to this subject in the text box below the list. When you are satisfied with what you've entered, press Update.
Setting Name: Enter a name for this domain.
The Subcultures: Click on the Add Subculture button. From the open file list choose a culture that you've already designed. That culture's name will appear in the subcultures list. To edit information about it, click on the name.
For each subculture, choice what percentage of the population it takes up, enter some notes on it, and indicate this cultures position in the society. Click update when you want to commit the changes.
Maps: Here is a list of the map's you've assigned to this domain. Select Options|Setup Maps to modify your list of maps.
Most Important Culture: Select the most important culture from the list.
The following fields can be filled in a similar manner. For each of the following click on the
to find a file to link with this setting. Then you can use the
button to quickly load the file into view. This way you keep all the required information at your fingertips.
Primary Calendar: this is the common calendar of the nation/world.
Primary Currency: this is the common currency of the nation/world.
Timeline: this is the official timeline of the nation/world. There will likely be other versions of the official history of the domain.
MapsOpen files by clicking on the
and add them to the list of map files used by clicking on Add Map. Selecting a map will display a preview of it.
