Incubation is the process of taking an established idea and 'thinking' on it. Hopefully you will come up with some novel spin to unravel into a story.
The incubation command is accessed from the main notebook. Right-click and a menu will appear. Choose the incubate option. This will bring you into Brainstorm.
The information from the card will be displayed in the output area. You can then mess around the with layout as normal. You don't have to save these layout files however, they are saved automatically if you exit Brainstorm with File|Save Results of Incubation. The next time you choose the incubate option for this card, this layout will display automatically.
