Tech Info (this information has not been updated for version 3.0

This is just a short section on what each file that Worgan uses, can do. I've included it in case anyone wants to try and manually fix a problem, or if users want to modify the behavior of Worgan. I will not be responsible for your data if you mess around with the files manually. However, I will try and help you fix any problems you create.

Unless you are in a tinkering mood, you don't need to know any of this.

· /Install Directory/

worgan2.exe -- main running file

worgan2.hlp -- help file

· /Install Directory/YourIdeas

character.dat

lesson.dat

object.dat

plot.dat

project.dat

scene.dat

These are the main data files that Worgan uses to keep track of the six pages. These files cannot be modified, except through Worgan. The following directories all store overflow work that Worgan uses: char, plot, project, lesson, object, and scene. Worgan allocates a 2K buffer inside of each of the .dat files. If you go outside this area of data with your text on a card it creates an overflow file in these directories. Character overflow files go in /char, project in project etc
