Cards, Pages and the Notebook.
Using digital cards instead of physical index cards has several advantages:
1. easy sorting
2. brainstorming simple
3. doesn't take up physical space
4. can be converted into a variety of usable formats; i.e., a story outline can be copied and pasted into the word processor that you use for writing your stories in.
5. allows interconnecting and linking of very different subject matter (i.e. you can have a card describing a story and then have a link from that card loading the market you want to sent it to)
6. not as likely to become damaged (it is more difficult to spill coffee on a Worgan card)
Using digital pages has advantages too:
1. easy organizing
2. keep 'like' things together
3. a lot faster to find what you need
Example of a Non-Digital Organizational Method:
One method of organizing paper research is to use color-coded index cards. Each card represents an idea. The color coding refers to the subject matter of the card.
For this discussion; brown means characters, blue means plots, and purple means projects.
The Paper Method
How This Method can be Converted into a Digital Method
Each of these cards could have instead been added to Worgan; three sample screen shots are shown below:

The general principle remains the same, but we now see that the usefulness of the data has been greatly increased by placing it in a digital format. The text in red are links; when using Worgan you need only put the cursor over this text, click and you will be brought to the linked card. For example, the second cards links via {{c 1}} to the character card that contains Chet's information. These are Inline Threads.
