Creepy crawly things that they are, bugs always slip through my iron-tight design methodology.
Problem:
If the thumbprints (\Worgan 2\YourIdeas\Data\History.dat) file gets corrupted it can cause an awful looking error (that is actually quite harmless). A big dialog box will appear and cabout an Insertion Error.
Correction:
Click OK and then close Worgan down. Delete the History.dat file. You won't lose much data, other than your history file. It DOESN'T affect your idea cards, although it prevents you from accessing them consistently until the file is deleted.Problem:
You can only store about 1000 lines of text on a Worgan card.
Correction:
This isn't really a bug, although it is a limitation. Worgan, can only stores files about 60-70K big in each of the cards. Really you shouldn't have cards this big anyway because it defeats the purpose of having 'small' idea card.
Problem:
I click on Birthdate under Text To Add(see card properties) and it says Invalid Filename.
Correction:
What happens here, is the default HUMAN.RAC file included with Worgan contains a reference to where the default calendar is, on my system. Go to the Race Manager and load the HUMAN.RAC file. Where is asks you to select the calendar file, click on the ellipsis speedbutton. You will be prompted to select a file. Select DEFAULT.CAL. Save the modified HUMAN.RAC file. Now return to the Text To Add section. Everything should work correctly now.
Problem
Changing the font of the Bookmark's changed the Header Font when the bookmark gets dropped.
NO SOLUTION YETProblem:
File Not Found when loading a timeline
Correction:
There is no calendar file entered under the calendar drop-down on the Timeline form. Enter one and this error should stop appearing.
Problem:
Cannot enter dates in the range 0001 to 0099 in BioGrapher.
Correction:
There is no solution yet.
Problem:
Cannot disable a Story Reminder. It won't disappear.
Solution
This is a silly problem that I can't figure out. A quick fix is to simply restart Worgan and try turning the reminder off again. This usually works.
